So, coming into land this morning to Heathrow, we circled over a very foggy London, and turned back west somewhere over the docks. As we came out of banking left, I saw below me the distinctive shape of Canary Wharf and surrounding towers, poking their heads up through the low-lying cloud. My immediate thought was to reach for my camera, knowing that this is the kind of photo I would be fortunate to see again.
However, due to my cleverness in packing all my things away into my bag so I could make good my escape once we touched down, my camera was in the overhead locker, the seatbelt sign was on, and I was one magnificent photograph poorer. T
